We will accept the return of full-priced items that are in new, unused condition, with original tags attached and accompanied by an original receipt (less shipping). Returned items must not be worn or altered and include all the original, undamaged, packaging materials (excluding the shipping box).

We do not guarantee the location of the printed foil, as they vary between dresses and are unique as you are. The Kintsugi collection is about the message and as we are all unique so are the dresses. If you wish to return a dress because you did not like the location of the print, we will accept the return of the new dresses within the time allotted for returns, but will not refund the free shipping as it is not considered a damage but the nature of the collection. We do not accept the return of sale items, sale items include discounted items using a coupon code. 

We do not accept return of items with smells from deodorant, detergent or perfumes.

Please Note: Some deodorants may discolor fabric. We are NOT responsible for items that were discolored after wear. Please ensure that your deodorant is not high in aluminum which contributes to the discoloration. Also, please note that items that are worn and not washed the deodorant may discolor over time. 

Worn items that have been washed and got damaged are not returnable. 

If you purchased an item from our collection at a boutique, and encounter any issues, please go directly to the store where you purchased for assistance. We only provide customer services for our direct customers. The boutique may reach out to us with any questions and concerns and we will assist them through the process.


All our products with foil are very delicate. Please follow the washing instructions: Wash inside out, with like colors in COLD water. Hang to dry, DO NOT APPLY any heat or the foil will come out. It is normal for some of the foil come out especially after the first wash. Please do not wash the foiled products too frequently, foil is a delicate product. We are NOT responsible for ANY changes to the foil once it is washed, there are no exceptions. If you have any questions prior to washing, please contact us. We are happy to go over the washing instructions with you. #WeAreKintsugi

How to proceed with a Return

To be eligible for a return, for ANY reason, you must contact us within 7 days of purchase/delivery and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number. We will not accept any returns without RMAs and customer will have to pay for the return shipping.

All approved returns must be shipped within 3 business days from the day you receive the RMA. To request an RMA email No RMAs will be provided via social media. All returns with RMAs that are not postmarked within 3 business days will be accepted at our discretion and an offer will be given depending on the amount of time of the delay and condition of the return. We may offer a partial credit or return the units to you, in which case you would need to cover the shipping.

We will email you a free return shipping label ONLY if you are returning an item because it's defective, isn't the item you ordered, or it was damaged in shipping. Your item will be exchanged (see Exchange section below) not refunded. Replacements are only available for the exact same item and must be shipped to the same address as the original order using the same shipping method. If the item you ordered isn’t available, we will refund your purchase price including shipping and tax (if any).

Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The cost of shipping will be deducted from your credit amount.

Damaged items must be reported within 3 days from receipt of product, therefore inspect your goods upon receipt. No refunds will be given to any damage report past 3 days but depending on our assessment of the situation, a credit or partial credit may be awarded. 

We advise that you use an insured and track-able shipping method. We will NOT be responsible for lost items or items damaged during return transit.

Colors may appear different on different screens and there may be a variation in production batches and the original photos of the product, therefore we do no refund products due to color variations. 

Items that are:

  • damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • appear used or worn
  • not in original condition (must be neatly folded and placed in original package)
  • do not have a packing slip or receipt
  • do not have an RMA number

will NOT be accepted or refunded. We will offer to ship the item back to you at your cost (handling charge may apply).

Any item with missing or damaged packaging material (excluding the shipping box), will incur a restocking fee of up to 20% of the full-price of the item.

To return your item, please follow these instructions:

  1. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization form by contacting us at
  2. Print out and complete the required information on the RMA form.
  3. Securely pack your merchandise, making sure to include all pages of the packing slip. Please try to use the original shipping box and materials.
  4. Affix the pre-addressed (and pre-paid return label, if applicable) to your return package.
  5. Depending on the form of shipping, mail your return package at any US Postal Service office or FedEx drop-off location, or hand off your package to your US Postal Service mail carrier or Federal Express driver.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a store credit will automatically be issued to you within 5 business days, in many cases we offer a refund to the original credit card used during the purchase. 

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for refunds nor credits.


We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you were sent the wrong item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replaced product to reach you, may vary.
